My name is America, I attend Capital High and this is my first year with Evolvement. My blog will be about my experience doing a board meeting with 24/7, which works to make New Mexico Schools nicotine-free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

I attended a board meeting with another Evolvement youth advocate, Daniela. We did a public comment thanking the board for implementing a nicotine free policy in our schools. We also made sure to talk about the resources we offer in order to make New Mexico schools 100% nicotine/tobacco free.

Others should care about tobacco free schools because we need to reduce the amount of nicotine/tobacco addiction in our generation. This is important to me because I believe we all deserve to like an addiction free life, especially at a young age.
